What is the best gift to give a Labor & Delivery nurse?
My daughter wants to give a token of thanks to her labor & delivery nurse(s). She would like to have something prepared so her husband can bring it to the hospital after the baby is born. Any treat wishes, Nurses?

Something that can be shared with the rest of the team. A giant cookie in pink or blue baby decorations can be shared by the team, or little cookies with pink or blue icing, or appropriate cupcakes. It was a team effort!
How sweet! Hope you receive lots of responses.
Nice handcream - they are always washing their hands.
Kate....If you have time I would purchase some baby mint molds from Michaels, Walmart, Hobby Lobby...buy Wilton melts, melt and pour. They are really a nice little thank you. Use pastel colors and can buy little clear bags for hubby to deliver. Just a sweet little gift from newborn and Mommy!
Speaking as a nurse, the last thing we want is any kind of candy. The hand cream idea is great. Another idea would be a fresh fruit basket.
Thank you for your “nurse’s” answer. As a teacher, I dreaded the mug of M&Ms for Christmas.....that’s why my daughter was hoping to get some nurses to answer. Thank you Julies.
