In this case, Castor wheels would be a good start. They would allow you to roll around your pub table.
You can add hardware as they did here https://www.hometalk.com/diy/paint/furniture/we-created-an-island-from-a-kitchen-table-13037445
We Created An Island From a Kitchen Table
Basically just use it as such. What do you feel needs to be changed to make it work? Top? Size?
Hi Patricia,
If you want it to be higher than the table, rollers will help. You can also build a "box" that will fit on top of the table, then cover that with any kind of counter material that you like. An important factor is to make sure that there will be room under the table if you want to use pub stools. It's also a good idea to build shelves under the table for storage. You can either build/buy cabinets that will fit or you can add shelves and use baskets on the shelves for storage. These are just a few of my thoughts after seeing what others have posted. Wishing you success with your project!
You could add castors to it so that you could roll it around if needed. You could paint it to match your kitchen. You could also add hooks to it so that you could hang towels from it.
