How do I cover my glass top kitchen table?
I can afford a new table but I have a glass top dinette set. Is there any ideas on how to cover the glass other than a table cloth?

How about contac paper??
Hi. You bet!
You can paint the under side of it. Reverse painting on glass is a very old art form.
Or you can use wall paper or contact paper and glue the front of the paper instead of using the glue on the back. Use a product such as Loctite Glass Glue. Iron your paper very flat. Use the glue sparingly and brush it on the glass. Lay your paper and use books to completely cover the table to insure the paper is on the glass completely. Allow to dry. Use clear plastic spacers on your legs if they touch the glass so they won't rip the paper. Happy DIY'ing!
Paint It! I would paint the underside so it doesn't get scratched.

I agree with all the solutions mentioned, paint, contact paper, etc. There’s some good frosted spray paint for glass on the market that would work well for the underside.
If all else fails, for decor you can skip the table cloth and instead use pretty placemats and table settings, and maybe a pretty floral centerpiece too.
Thanks guys! Your suggestions were helpful. You guys rock!!!
