If you are speaking of card files, here are similar sized drawers used in two different ways. The pic on left shows metal file drawers in which I store organized photographs. The picture on right shows a cabinet of 24 drawers in my kitchen I use for a variety of things, silverware, batteries, ice cream scoops, manicure supplies, junk drawer etc. etc. small drawers are great for endless numbers of necessaries!

Great suggestions here! Lucky you, I would die to have one of them. Perfect for so many uses. Craft supplies, kitchen gadgets, cofffee/tea/hot cocoa bar, nut, bolt, nail and do dad storage in the garage or workshop. Bit and pieces storage for kids toys, just walk around your home and see where it might work for you.
