How do I change an antique secretary desk into a crafting desk?
I don't have a pic, but I have a very old secretary of my late mother-in-law's and would like to convert it over to storing some of my crafting supplies. I don't want to paint it, or take it apart so I'm kinda limited to what I can do.

Could you give us a picture of it?
I'm familiar with a secretary desk, Nancy, and I don't think you'll need to do much. The shelves above are great for storage, If you don't want the items in full view, you could frost the glass doors or hang fabric on the inside on small rods. The drawers below also are great for storage-fabric, yarn, paper, etc. The cubbies inside are perfect for small items like markers, pens, paint brushes, etc. I hope this helps!
I would just start using it by filling up the cubbyholes and draws with crafts items.
I agree with Ann, just use It . May want to cut a thick piece of cardboard to fit desk surface to protect the finish.
Hi, maybe just add some shelving that can sit on top, if it doesn't yet have that, and you can buy dividers to separate the drawers into sections!
