Dot...If it fits your needs and looks good to you then I say do it. May remove stain or repaint. If casters are on the bottom you might buy some chunky feet and remove them . You may also want to cover top with marble or a nice workable piece of counter cut to size. I have one that I have thought about doing but it's a little to big but I believe. Hope this helps a little with your decision or at least gives you more food for thought!
