Do you mean different colors of flowers? Because, if so, absolutely! Some people like to stay with one color, but, I prefer several. If you are referring to the containers, I think they look nice either mixed or all one color.
There's no harm in mixing and matching containers, but I do try to keep them in complementary color schemes. If you mean the flowers in the pots, the more colors the merrier!
