To whiten and clean in washer.
Vinegar is also a natural disinfectant. Helps with static too.
I have heard using vinegar in the wash is a good natural fabric softener. It would make sense to use it when washing the pillows too! :)
I use vinegar in every load I wash,reduces static and kills germs.
