How do I replace a table top?
Left the bottom of the table which is mahogany. I would like to use the table without putting a lot of money into it. What could I use on the top instead of the marble or granite and still have it look good

Lowe's has wooden table tops in the lumber section in a variety of sizes. You could paint one a color that compliments the mahogany. Good luck!

You could make a table top similar to this! https://www.frommyfrontporchtoyours.com/2013/02/diy-wood-plank-table-top-reveal.html
I'd check out the different kitchen countertop materials offered in my local Home Depot. Lowes. etc. They could possibly cut you a size to fit your table's base for a reasonable price. Granite or faux marble might be pretty!
