What's the best flower/plant to grow in Texas?
I know that opinions vary, but what's your opinion?!I have great luck w Rosemary plants. Green all year long.
Need full sun and very little moisture or else it will grow. I wish I could grow moss, it's valuable here. Pricey at the nurseries. Just remember moss is,better than weeds, plus,holds the soil.
Moss comes from dark and damp. So unless you get permanent sunshine you will always get it.. I had one area in my yard that always got moss in the winter, and come summer I used a pressure washer to remove it.
we have mixed bleach and water and sprayed it until the moss is gone.
Lime the area to raise soil pH and kill moss. Divert water runoff, if possible. Trim tree and shrub branches to increase sunlight.
