Window cleaner or water and vinegar and use a squeegee !!! It is much faster than using paper towels or newspaper ! Can be used for both inside and outside Windows ! They also make an outside window cleaner , that attaches to your hose , sounds easy , but I have never tried it .
I make my own window and glass cleaner. https://www.yourbeautyblog.com/2019/02/diy-homemade-window-and-mirror-cleaner.html
I also use newspapers instead of a towel.
straight rubbing alcohol(low cost-dries fast) clean cloth no fabric softener on it(streaks & smears) no paper towels they are coated with chemicals leaves streaks & smears pour alcohol on a cloth wipe the window, mirrors, auto glass do one side horizontally one side vertically so you can tell which side you have missed anything .
Using a good cleaner like Windex and clean paper towels will get windows clean IF you do not clean them in the sunshine. If direct light is streaming in the window, it will dry to fast and streak. So work with 2 people , one inside and one outside, on the side of the house where there is no direct sunlight streaming in the winds. We work around on the sides opposite the sun. Hope this helps. Be sure to use clean paper towel as you work on each window too. I wipe it down with one, then rewipe it with a clean one using the Windex both times. Also the partner on the other side can help you see spots you might otherwise miss and you them, etc. Many hands make light work, fun with a friend.
