You need to trim them now. Actually should have already been trimmed back in February. If I were you I would not trim them back to much, this Wednesday is the first day of Spring!!! If you don'the trim them they will be fine this year, you may not have as many roses. Good Luck

I am in zone 9 and already pruned mine back. Leafing out nicely and should have first blooms by Easter.

We prune our roses in very late winter or very early spring before they begin to leaf out. We have many many rose blooms!
You should prune roses after the last frost, in Tacoma, Wa. the average date would be March 13th. For stems as thick as your thumb cut to about 18'' for stems the size of your little finger cut to 6" everything in between will vary the thicker the stem the longer you cut.
Depends on the climate zone. Southern California is January. Prescott, Arizona is March. Cannot cut them back too soon or new buds will freeze. When you cut them back you are asking the plant to grow.
