Bona products are what I used when I had them. Be careful using water, it can easily ruin the floors over time. While I adore dark floors, I decided against them, for that very reason, you see every speck of dust or any stray hair, etc. I have a lot of pets too. You might try at least a dry swiffer every day quickly to keep them nice.
No. I think the will strip it.
Bona for laminate floors.
I always try to tell my clients that dark is beautiful in flooring, cabinets and counters, but are very maintenance heavy. They make special cleaners for laminate floors sold at floor stores for heavy cleaning but for everyday dust and crumbs just use a dry swifter. Keep it handy, you'll need it alot.
I use Bona for laminate floors and like the result. https://www.target.com/p/bona-stone-tile-laminate-floor-cleaner-22-fl-oz/-/A-14779352?ref=tgt_adv_XS000000&AFID=google&fndsrc=tmnv&DFA=1&CPNG=PLA_DVM%2B0060H00000mnkbsQAA-Bona-2019-Feb-Flight&adgroup=PLA_Bona&LID=700000001393753pgs&network=g&device=m&location=9007584&gclsrc=aw.ds&&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIooavwqWb4QIVxAOGCh3FtQ21EAQYAiABEgLtqvD_BwE
I always used Murphy's Oil Soap on a barely damp mop for mine. Between washings, you could use a microfiber mop head just to pick up dust. 😎
Yes, vinegar and water and then dry with a towel.
But I have been told that dark floors show all the dust. They are beautiful though.
Dana...I like Pledge for laminate floors.
Yes although it is trendy to have dark flooring, many more bits of dust, flour, thread, etc. will show up on it. No cleaner will prevent this from happening. If you don't want to be constantly cleaning the floor, I would say do away with permanent frustration, and replace it with a light color.
I know what you mean, I made the mistake of putting dark flooring in one of my houses. I don't think it matters what you use, you'll be cleaning it every day. I'd just try a Swiffer.
To clean laminate flooring using a solution of vinegar and one-third cup of liquid dish detergent, mix them in a spray bottle. Apply the solution to your floor in small sections, and never saturate the floor in a single application. The vinegar solution may damage the protective coating of your laminate floors. However, it is worth trying as it is very effective in cleaning your floors. It only requires a little extra effort once or twice a week.
