Best to fold these items and place them in a basket. Use the Mari Kondo method by folding them by folding them in thirds lengthwise then in quarters top in, bottom in, then in half.

Tank top hangers are awesome, and yes Bed Bath and Beyond have some great ones.
I loop the straps around the top of a hanger placing several on one hanger
Another good way would be to use clothes pins or shower curtain hooks to hang them across the bottom of a hanger. No need then to have to remove a handful of shirts to get to the one you want to wear.
