How do I plant tulip bulbs that I recently dug up?
I bought my house in February of 2014. In the spring I realized there were two lips under my bathroom window. The problem is they were too close together and never had actual flowers on them. Also there are no other flowers or Landscaping in the area where they were growing. So this spring I dug them up. But now I don't know where to plant them or if they're even going to be good still. Please help!

They need inground ASAP, Tulips should be transplanted in Fall, they need full sunshine to bloom & are even ok crowded. they will develope additional bulbs in clumps anyway. They are varieties that come up really early and others that come up later in Spring into early summer.put in ground and let em grow.
Hi there. I'm no gardener, but this article seems to have a lot of information: https://homeguides.sfgate.com/transplant-tulips-before-bloom-37535.html
You need to at least put them in pots to keep the bulb roots alive. If they hadn't started to sprout yet, they may bloom for your yet this year if you plant them right away. Put them out in a sunny area. There don't have to be other flowers or plants where they grow, they can always be added to the area, just mark where they are planted. Let the greens die back naturally, as that is what feeds the bulbs for the wait until they come up again in the spring next year. If you put them in pots, they will need to be kept from freezing over the winter, but need the cold dormant period before they will come up in the spring when it starts to warm up, so perhaps a garage will work.
I planted spring flowers in random spots in my yard in addition to the flower beds. It's like magic when they appear.
