Is it a chest or upright freezer you are going to organize?
Everything is labeled. In our chest freezer we have a running list on a clipboard as to what is in there and the date. As we take something out, cross it off the list. We add something, write it down.
I put like items in plastic bins that are labeled. I also keep a dry erase board on the outside to chart zones & content.
if its an upright freezer you can have each shelf for different types, vegetables, homemade stock, homemade meals etc.. I use lots of tupperware, I am usually out of labels so I use masking tape and write on it. This easily peels off so the tupperware can be reused.
