How to redo birdbath bowl?
my bird bath bowl is cement. It's pitted and ugly on the inside. I'd love to do a mosaic design but what materials to use? Would painting it make more sense? The outside of the bowl and pedestal are fine.

You can mosaic the inside. Be sure to seal it when done!
If you paint you will need to fill the holes with a concrete compound and then use an epoxy paint or else the paint will peel.
You can use swimming pool paint.
I would start out by using a concrete paint to paint the birdbath, then whatever you paint it with needs to be sealed very well so the water doesn't ruin the paint design.
