Consider a small raised bed. The plants you mention don't need much space. Enclose the area with treated lumber, old railroad ties, even recycle pallet wood, etc., and add soil for your area.
Find your spot you will use to plant turn over all soil pull weeds put down landscape fabric so you won’t get weeds then plant tomatoes and other plants about 6 inches apart

Knowing your climate and garden placement is crucial to a successful garden. For example, tomatoes need sun, except in my area, if set in full sun, all you will get is small sunburned inedible fruit. I am in zone 9.
Start with making a list of items you wish to plant. Next, determine the growing season for each item. Then, determine climate and zone. Finally, put all this information together and plant accordingly.
