You can pour Borax Laundry deterent all over the area where you saw them, leave it dry and it will kill them quickly. I am terrified of roaches, especially the large ones from outside and Borax has always been my quick way to get rid of them. You can also pour it in a line around your home or deck to keep them away. It works.
  • Diatomaceous Earth which is sold at Lowe's or Home Depot for less than $10 and it very safe, organic, and will get rid of ants, roaches, fleas etc. It is not harmful to humans or animals and only toxic to bugs with exoskeletons! The Diatomaceous Earth at Home Depot is safe for pets. As with any chemical organic or manmade you should not breathe it. I use Diatomaceious earth for insect control and highly recommend it. There is a food grade source for humans and animals to eat. As with any pest control product you need to read the label to make sure it is the actual natural and safe product you are looking to use.

We had an invasion of wood roaches once...thank goodness they did not get inside...and the exterminator said to sprinkle this on the porch and then out in the yard a few feet to create a barrier! It worked...we have not seen them since. (I don't remember what we used, but it as a large bag of stuff we bought at the "do it yourself pest store". I mention this to let you know to put some out in the yard. I don't like the bugs that mulch brings to the house!
