How to change a backsplash in the kitchen?
I just moved into an apartment that has green tile backsplash. I hate green. Would like to cover it up with something else. Really like the white/gray marble look. Needs to be removable for when I move out.

Maybe contact paper
Although there are some schemes that are touted as being 'removable', there is still no guarantee that they will not cause some kind of damage to the existing wall surface upon removal.
To protect yourself from losing your damage deposit, and possibly even being fined for damaging the walls when you move out, get permission first in writing from the apt owner before you do anything to alter the look of the backsplash.
Here is a backsplash we did in my daughter's apartment that was easy to use and looked great! https://www.homeroad.net/2013/09/tin-ceiling-backsplash.html
There are removable tile decals available. I've also seen people use vinyl or wallpaper. I would not recommend contact paper because it sticks too much and is impossible to remove.
Re Homeroad's answer:
The tin ceiling backsplash will not be removable when she moves out.
