How do I update my stairs?
I pulled up carpet from the four steps leading into my living room (converted carport). It has been bare rough wood for a while as I do not know what to do next. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

You can pick up wood treads from the home improvement store. Attach them to the steps and paint the risers and you'll have a very finished look! :)
You could paint them for a cheap option, or get wood to cover the stairs and stain them / paint the backs.
I pulled my carpet from the stairs, found carpet planks the exact width on Amazon. They came with one strip of carpet tape and I added two strips to each. It is beautiful, easy to replace if stained and easy to do in a day.

What about peel-and-stick wallpaper on the risers?
Sand the wood and then you can stain or paint it.
