If you are working from room to room with doorway threshold/a door you can close in between sections it might be OK. Like working on a living room and then plan on later to do a bedroom. If you have an open concept area then it would NOT look OK. You will be able to tell the difference and it would be hard to match any overlaps from where you ended in one spot and then started a new area.
Not too easily. If it is a refinished floor, no way. If it was, finished on the job and no stain or common stain you can give it a try. Feather the edges and finish. Hood luck.
It's very hard to match the stain of the wood floors especially if the floors are old, one part will look newer than the older part.
We've tried in the past, but unfortunately not only was it hard to match, but the damaged area didn't match the undamaged area when stained. We ended up staining the whole floor a darker stain
