DIY Hyacinth Mirror
Here’s a super simple way to create your own hyacinth mirror on a budget!
I’ve seen a lot of hyacinth mirrors around and wanted to have a go making one for myself.
I found a gorgeous mirror plate at Dusk - a candle store in Australia and decided to use it for my mirror.
Next I used a Hyacinth Placemat from Kmart and some N’Viro Tie from Bunnings- a Hardware Store in Australia.
I started by threading through the N’Viro Tie in between the rows of the placemat and then securing the tie with a hot glue gun.
Next I added some larger loops around the outside of the smaller loops using the same process.
I also kept one extra small loop at the top for hanging.
The last part of completing the mirror was gluing it to the hyacinth placemat.
I used liquid nails as I needed a strong glue to secure it.
I also left it overnight to dry!
Pretty happy with the total cost!
The mirror that I liked in the store was $50 mine ended up costing around $15
