What would be your goal in putting this type of table in a kitchen corner?
I would not think that an end table would be a height conducive to either comfortably sitting at, or bending over to use as a work surface.
It would take up a lot of floor space and might be hard to clean around if it were in a corner.....
plant stand,put a small lamp on it,put large bowl or copper pot with fruit or veggies in it

If of simple design, use on top of worktop in corner to give you another level to store or display things.
I think it could be extra storage. You could put something on top like a wine rack or something too.
