I started by going to craft shows. There are a lot in the fall, leading up to Christmas. Just check your local Facebook groups or ask around. There is generally a fee for a booth.

Gina....I would suggest you start on some simple crafts...maybe Christmas or fall. You can find so many on Pinterest. The craft show is a wonderful idea and they will be starting very soon, if not already in many places. You will be surprised at the simplicity you will see. Many times I make pictures (ask first) or purchase one for a pattern. I believe you will find that it can be a booming business.... if you really like crafting it will be fun and I can't really consider something you enjoy so much as WORK! If you do well, however, you may wind up with lots of orders around holidays and get a little pushed! Who knows what will result from this for you....much luck and happy crafting!

    Hi Gina,

Craft shows are very popular all over. Certain types of festivals also support craft vendors, you may want to look there. If you do this be prepared for a lot of packing and unpacking of your items inbetween, the best way to store and transport, and whether or not you'll have a table to display. This is a good time of year to start!

Also check local papers for events and need for vendors. U.E. above is right, many want a fee.

    Best to you.
