this is funny as we are in the midst (that is my husband is) of building a bench to hold plants. IN the past we have had shelves in the window that are supported by metal strips that brackets fit into (available at hardware big box stores) you may need four supports if you window is angled. And the shelves would need to be cut to fit the shape of the window,
Hi Lisa, you can find any design you like and alter the measurements to fit the bay window

You could also use hooks in the bay window ceiling to hang some plants at varying heights.
Something like this might be nice! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EDSbyVz-Yn4
Make it self supporting. Draw out design. Work out how to do it, then get supplies and Create away. Have fun.
Sketch out how many shelves and the look you want then take measurements of the window and where the angles would be. By doing this you can calculate the width and length of the wood/plywood/metal you'll need to purchase to accomplish the project. You'll also need uprights, so measure for the distance you want to have between the lateral shelves. Think it through and decide on how much you're willing to invest and access whether you have the skills/tools to complete; if not, you might find a handy person who would enjoy the challenge and not charge you too much for labor. There are also some tiered plant stands available online that might measure up to fit your needs.
