Turn a hutch into a bar
Use a contemporary color that coordinates with the things you already have. Is it a table? Could you have a stone top made for it that has sparkles in the stone?
Hi Chloe,
Thanks for your input.
It's a very small table so I was going to use it as a plant stand.
Chalk painting or Spray painting it one uniform color could be a possible solution.
Thanks for responding.
The top is mosaic so it would look bumpy if I painted it.
I'm going to have to cover it.
But the legs I can spray paint.
You could stick a round tray in whatever finish takes your fancy straight on top to cover the mosaic.
I'd consider spray painting it in a bold color!
I am thinking bold base color cover the mosaic. Then a cement top. You can color the cement and do your own unique spin with it. You could even take the mosaic out an replace it. Do you want indoor or outdoor use?
Thank you all for the great ideas!
Yes a bold color base!
I'm planning on keeping it inside and I think I'm going to go with the concrete.
I can always top it with a tray without actually attaching it permanently.
I really appreciate the input as I'm not naturally creative.
Trisha don't sell yourself short on creativity! You saw this at a sale and had a vision to make it yours - that's being creative! I like your choice. 😎
Thanks Robyn!
