How I Made a Custom Kitchen Silverware Drawer Organizer
We just bought plastic trays.
I just reorganized mine with a combination of 2 things. First I got the dollar tree organizers for drawers for $1 each for the serving ware. Then I cut off the bottom of a tissue box and covered it with some contact paper I have on hand and put some small odds and ends like butter knife, jelly spoon, and a few steak knives etc in it. The trays are perfect in width for all of them to stay in place. For my utensils, I bought an brushed nickel looking ice cube holder and took out the center plastic insulator and put my cooking utensils in it. It is large enough to hold my multiple utensils and fits the decor of my kitchen.
I collect and sell silverware (plate) I store it lots of ways. I use plastic drawers which are kept in the cellar in a wooden cabinet. I use silverware chests. In our small kitchen I have a small wooden cabinet with many drawers. Six of these hold silverware by type (spoons, knives, forks, salad and dinner, knives etc.) plastic divider trays are most common for most households who do not have specific drawers for them.
