A simple red and white ornament to decorate your tree. Get the kids involved at home, use this as a class or Sunday school project. This candy cane ornament is easy to make and looks lovely on a tree.

You can pick up many of these supplies at the dollar store.

The punches and glitter card stock can be found at a craft store. This part of the project can be customized and you can really use whatever craft supplies you have at home.

Arrange the mini candy canes in a circle, they make little hearts and look so cute! Use hot glue to secure everything together.

For the middle, use the glitter card stock and punches to create a pretty center piece. Or use whatever embellishments you have in your craft room to finish off this candy cane ornament.

Finally add a loop of ribbon around one of the candy canes to hang this ornament on the tree.

Make a few of these ornaments to create a themed tree this year.

Or gather these supplies and do this project with a class. These candy cane ornaments make great gifts.
