What do you have room for? My kitchen is very small by American standards and I added in a small buffet and bakers rack on the only wall in my kitchen, as the rest have windows, cabinets or appliances. Want a photo?
We have a very small kitchen but we are going to add sliding drawers where we have bottom cabinets as we can store twice as much that way and also it will be easier to retrieve everything. We put lid holders inside the cabinet doors to hold all the pan/pot lids and on another inside drawer we put a basket to hold all the cutting boards and cookie sheets. It has been a tremendous help. In the spice cabinet we added a U shaped addition to put spices above and below and made twice as much room, then I put all my measuring cups and spoons on command hooks inside the doors of top cabinets. We also built our own island on wheels to move around and add storage plus a few more drawers which helped too. It has a hinged top on the back side if I need to pull it out and have more counter space too (opposite side of the drawers). It is metal on top for me to set hot things or my instant pot to cook and not heat the laminate on the counter top. Hope these ideas help
I bought some wire shelves that doubled my cabinet shelf space. Cup hooks under the cabinet for cups and utensils.
See if you can add another shelf in cabinets by organizing things by height. For instances all the coffee cups together on one shelf would only require about 5" height. So you could possibly add another whole shelf.
Measure, measure, measure! You can open your cabinets and see unused space, then measure and create an extra shelf. I've used heavy cardboard boxes, covered them with decorative cloth or contact paper to create m own "slide-out" drawers for the base cabinets. Not quite as nice as having the slide-out drawers installed, but it works for me. I label my shelves and place like things with like so if any one is helping me in the kitchen they can readily see where specific items should be stored. Another idea is if you happen to have open space between the tops of your cabinets and the ceiling, you can get decorative baskets or once again cover cardboard boxes to create additional storage for items you rarely use or for storage of paper towels, dish cloths, etc. I also have lazy susans at each corner of my cabinets and have many items stored on them and by rotating can easily access all items on the lazy susan. I have a tension rod placed underneath my kitchen sink and store various spray bottles on it by hanging from the handles of the bottles. As you work through your kitchen additional ideas will likely occur.
