Does TSP take the shine off kitchen cabinets?
I want to clean my kitchen cabinets. Is TSP a good product to use? I don't want to dull them.

TSP, Krud Kutter, or Murphy's oil soap. Will not dull the finish.

It really depends on your finish. Always test the back of doors.
I only use TSP for serious cleaning for prep before painting. In the past, I used to clean with it, but there are safer products to use. Yes, it can dull some finishes. I use Dawn dish detergent, and microfiber cloths.

Yes TSP will, but a cleaner degreaser such as Purpower will not
