Space bags! Store in closets or under bed, or even in the garage, wherever you have a nook or cranny to store them.
After they're cleaned, I use space bags to vacuum seal my winter comforters and blankets. I slide them under the bed or stack them in the linen closet. https://www.amazon.com/s?k=space+bags+jumbo&crid=13SFTP6L0DYWX&sprefix=space+bags%2Caps%2C165&ref=nb_sb_ss_i_4_10
Under the bed storage if possible.
Clear or white trash bags, 1 per bag. Twist tied. Write on the bag with a Sharpie.
vacuum storage for sure! Those things are magic!
If blankets are wool, they need to breathe, and be treated before storage, to prevent moth damage. Store clean wool blankets in a cedar chest or in all cotton bags with cedar blocks and lavender sachets.
