Hi ! When I moved to my current house I designated my double cabinet to hold my pots and pans . I bought a holder to stand my most used trying pans , the rest I stacked behind them . In the other side I bought a rollout rack and put my sauce pans in . The was enough room between the racks on either side to put my baking pans and other cooking pans . On the top 1/2 shelf I put my large 8 quart lot , collinders , ramekins , sifter and graters . There are different ways to store your kids , mine I was able to fit upside down on some lots and I had room on the side of the roll out rack to keep mine . I was also able to store a multi size large pot pie between the cabinet wall and frying pan rack . i did but more storage racks including one for my lids , but did not have enough room for them . For the kids I have seen two good ideas , 1. Use command hooks on the inside of cabinet doors . Or use a tension had on the sides of the cabinets, keeping it about an inch or so from the cabinet side wall and rest the kids against it . Good luck !!!
I stack my pots according to size and use vinyl racks for cookie sheets.

I actually bought an organizer. It was super easy to install and I love being able to pull out the drawers instead of digging to the back of our cabinets. https://www.hometalk.com/diy/organize/kitchen/update-kitchen-bathroom-storage-pull-out-heavy-duty-wire-baskets-43401240
