Can stained concrete floors be restained?
After 15 years, our stained concrete floors are looking worn. Can they be restained? If so, what is the procedure? Is it a DIY or better left to professionals/

Inside? Or outside like on a patio or driveway? Depends on whether they were sealed, or not. After 15 years you most likely can just restain. A preferred method in my area as it just fades over time and easy to refresh when needed. It is just like painting and a pretty easy DIY. Can provide more info if we know whether interior or exterior.

Thanks so much Linda!
yes, if truly stained, they can be the-stained darker. If painted, they can be stripped.
only if you are making them a darker color
If the colour is just faded, then paint over again same colour, but if paint is worn and faded, then paint the worn area first, ;eave to dry well then go over the whole floor with top coat. It goes without saying, you will need to vac and wash and let the floor dry before painting again.
