Step 1 | Mix Cement And White Pigment
If you love making things with concrete and cement, then come grab my free Pocket Guide To Concrete and Cement Crafting Mixes. I did a bunch of tests and the results were so interesting!
First add the cement mix to the bowl. You’ll have to eye how much you need, based on how many ornaments you want to make, and what size cookie cutters you use. To give you a sense of scale, I used about 1 cup of cement and ended up with 20 ornaments.
Next add the white pigment to the dry cement mix (this is optional). I used about 2-3 rounded tablespoons of pigment for the 1 cup. Now mix the pigment in well with the dry cement.
Once it is blended evenly, add the cold water (make sure it’s cold so that you have enough time to work on this before the cement starts to set). The cement consistency should be like soft cookie dough.
