What is the easiest way to refinish a coffee table?
Hi everyone. If anyone knows how to refinish a wood coffee table with permanent marker on the top and the easiest way possible due to severe Rhuematoid arthritis . If you can help me re-finish this the easiest way possible.... you guys are awesome and if you don’t ..... your AWESOME. Try writing over the permanent marker with a dry erase marker and wipe with a cloth. Often, this will remove the permanent marker.
Hi Laura: Acetone, not nail polish remover, the kind you get in Lowes or Home Depot will remove permanent marker.
Refinishing is hard - even with out arthritis! Could you just get a runner for the top and cover the marker?
If you can get someone to help you sand the top down, the staining and finishing part wouldn't be as bad!
