How to clean windows
I like to use vinegar like the tutorial above!
Hi Carole, this method never goes out of style
Carole...Vinegar and newspapers
There are lots of posts here that can help you:
A damp microfiber cloth should produce a streak free finish. Don’t do on a hot, sunny day. I prefer SuperCloth and use it for glass, screens, and appliances. It is similar to the cloth you receive with glasses/sunglasses. It was well worth the investment. They were under $40 for 4 of them about 5 years ago.
Newspaper and vinegar will make the glass shine!
That used to be the go to method but newspapers no longer use the kind of ink that made that method popular.
For outside I spray with the windex bottle that attaches to one's hose. When that product runs out I fill bottle with a mixture of Dawn and water. For inside I use windex, and maybe if window is really dirty I wipe off first with a damp paper towel.
In the winter, you’ll want to wait on doing the outside.
On the inside, I use a mild vinegar solution and 2-3 drops on dish detergent, a sponge, a single edge razor blade, a squeegee and paper towels to dry it.
