There are some paints specially formulated for using on glass. You can find them at craft stores. I like these: https://decoart.com/glass-paint/glass-stain
Hi Ronnie,
Plaid has an entire system of faux glass paint and faux lead that you can use to create a beautiful stained glass window look. Here's one of many videos on youtube that will help you with your research. Wishing you the best.

There are kits you can purchase with the materials. Find a design you like and tape it to the opposite side of the glass. Trace with the "caming" material first and then fill in with the colors you want. Or you can purchase stained glass window film.
Hi ! You can find glass paints at your local craft store like Michael's . You tape your design to the backside of your window . The using the puff paint in lead color trace your outlines . When dry paint in the area with glass paint . Good luck !!! Post your project !!!😀
Why buy a design you won't like?
Look around for a few Paint by Numbers Kits with Art you like. Rather than paint onto the Supplied Canvass, put the Canvass behind the Glass.
Presto: Paint by Number Glass!
It is so much easier the Professional Way.
Then you need to take the Acrylic Paint from the Kit to Lowe's Or Home Depot to find matching Exterior paint for each, on the Cards that they have at the Paint Section.
Remember: The cards show the Dry Color, not wet so it is best to Test these on a Glass Bottle to make sure they dry the color that you want.
Better get a Gallon of each Color too because: Everyone you know will likely want one, once they see yours.
They make Great Christmas Presents too.
Especially if you make a Light Up Shadow Box.
Also, where it says to use White, sometimes, and often with Snowy scenes, you are better off with a Can of Spray Frost for Privacy Windows rather than White Paint.
Let us see it when you're done!
Hi, Ronnie!
There is also adhesive window film by Gila that can be purchased to cover the window as a super-easy option! I hope this helps!
Cher beat me to it, you can try window films. Otherwise yes, glass paints will do the trick and can be found at any craft store.
