Hi, Carolyn!
I use an adhesive lint roller (and go through several sheets of the adhesive) followed by vacuuming with a brush attachment. I hope this helps!
I use a rubber glove (the disposable kind) and pick up the larger pieces with that. Followed by a powerful hand held for the finer stuff. I have to force myself to do this on a regular basis (gee I sound lazy).
Duct tape
I use the glove method, too, but I recommend misting it very lightly with a little water first to break the static bond.
I use a rubber pet hair brush, one of those vecro lint clothing brushes, and then the upholstry tool of my carpet cleaner to get all the pet dander, saliva, wee etc. off the fabric. A soft carpet brush, mine is a Resolve one, works well too, followed by tape wound around your hand to remove the hair.
You can buy a rubber brush which you can dampen and this works great.
Rubber pet brushes. This is what I have:

Works like magic and I swear by them. You can find at any store that sells pet supplies or a pet shop.
rubber gloves work, also used a mr clean magic eraser
A damp microfiber cloth really grabs it.
Hi Carolyn, this won't prevent, but hopefully helps to clean easier

Vacuum or use a rubber glove and wipe off the hair.
