I like winter stuff such as Snowmen and branches with snow.
Hello Mj's,
Tartan for New Year and cones......
I am a huge snowman and snowflake fan. I decorate my house with those things. Here's a link to some of my snowmen that I've created that might help (there are pages of them) - https://chascrazycreations.com/?s=snowman
Hi! maybe this will help

I agree with the snow men /winter theme. You can use lights around your doorways any season. It adds such warmth and homey ness. Snowmen are so cute. So instead of putting all the decorations away after Christmas...and feeling alittle sad . Leave the snowmen out I’m not sure where you are from but here in NY it can be alittle dreary. Then when February nears add your valentine decor. I always have some type of garland with lights on my mantle for each season..just because it makes me happy.😁
Trees, snowmen and snowflakes are always an option! Or you can use winter flowers - pansy, cyclamen, snow drops, calendula, violet, etc. I replaced the Christmas themed front door wreath with faux winter flowers. That will stay up until February 1st when it will be replaced with a Valentine's Day wreath. After that, a St. Patrick's Day wreath, then an Easter/ Spring wreath.
It might depend on the climate where you live. We are in the north with snow on the ground and cold weather. So I would use candles, maybe photographs taken in the snow or in cold places. Plaids are good for throws or quilts displayed but really if you are in Florida these ideas would not work!
I transition to white with silver accents for January, then add red for Valentine's day around end of month.
I use a winter theme with some of the trees I used at Christmas. You can read about it here https://www.homeroad.net/2018/01/creating-easy-winter-mantel-with-mason.html
