How can I preserve a headband that I wore to my wedding 13 years ago?
I would like to do something with my headband I wore at my wedding. The beads are getting loose and I would like to do something with it so I could keep at least the beads because I don’t want to get rid of it just put it away. So I need ideas to what I can do to keep some of my memories of that special day.

Glue the beads back on and then see if you can form around a candle for a ring. It's very pretty.
Hi ! Definitely put it in a shadow box with other things from your wedding , photos , invitation , sheet music to "your song " can be used as the backing ...
Tammy: Pamela's idea of a shadow box was my first thought too! Go for it!
Make it into a wreath of some kind and put it on the wall
Hi Tammy,
I would re-glue this beautiful head band and continue to wear it.
My first thought was also Pamala's but I think I would just have the headband in the shadow box and maybe include in a grouping of wedding memorabilia, but maybe not too.
A air tight bag would help prevent deterioration. Those "Seal-A- Meal" bags would be best.
I agree with Pamela. A shadow box would be perfect. Apply glue to the beads with a toothpick or similar and even any strings.
you clip off the ends and hot glue the decorated section to the top of a picture frame with a picture of you wearing the headpiece
So beautiful..The shadow box sounds cool..Be lovley! memories are priceless. So i would want to keep this safe forever, but show it off to..backing with paper off your song sounds so nice also. An if you can make it better with hot glue..Were it again get a pic now of you an your hubbie 13 year later..owe so sweet ...which ever you do im sure it will be worth it :)
