Put ice cubes in the dents and let them melt on their own. Take a rag and soak up the water then use a spoon to fluff up the fibers.
Hello. I have had furniture dents too. I’ve done two things. If you have a steamer, go over the spots and it will fluff back up. You may need to brush it.
Or wet a wash cloth or rag with hot water. Ring out and place on until e fibers pop up. You many need to dampen the fibers and brush.
I have seen the ice cube hack promoted and used. I hope this helps you solve your carpet dents. Heres a helpful link.

Heat a damp cloth as hot as you can, wear protective gloves to handle. Place on the dents to help liven the fibers back up. You can use a rubber broom to help lift them in the process.
I've used my steamer and it works great. Just don't use too much or you'll wet the floor under the carpet.

Hi ! I've heard by putting an ice cube in the debt is supposed work !!!
Good luck!
Place an ice cube in the dent. When melted blot up excess water. Fluff fibers with brush. Let dry then fluff again.
If you have a clothing steamer, it also works on carpet dents.
I've heard leaving on ice cube on it works, but I've never tried that myself!
Thank you all for your input. I find this most helpful! You girls rock!
May take time because if the carpet is dented, so is the pad underneath. I have used ice cubes and when melted and still wet, fluff up the carpet with a fork. Then dry and fluff again.
