How true about the color being different on each monitor, it looks like a dark gray to me.
Eric: you could take the paint sample and have it "analyzed" at ACE, Lowes or Home Depot... they could tell you what colors go into making the paint... then you'd know for sure.

It is really hard to tell for me, at least. I agree with Nan...bring a sample in to your paint store. They should be able to match it for you

What color this paint will appear to be when it is put on the walls might seem very different from the little swatch, depending on what type of light you have in the room. Incandescent light shines Yellowy, fluorescent has a Greenish tint, and LED also varies, whether it is warm or cool.

What you call the color is just a matter of naming... different people will have different names for it. But here's more information about your color. For what it's worth, I'd personally call it "brown", but "olive" also seems reasonable. The page I linked to calls it "very dark grayish orange" -- again, for what it's worth.

I think that it all depends on the screen that you are looking at. In my screen it looks as dark brown color.
