How do you repair an old cane chair with a broken seat?
I thought about replacing the seat with weaved fabric . Of course, this will just be for looks and not for sitting.

How old is old?
The ease of replacing the cane or reviving the chair with another seat covering depends on how the covering is attached to the frame.

I used old men's neck ties and tied knots underneath. Looks great and seats well. Very sturdy.
