How do I replace a section of cracked/missing grout?
I bought a home with a tile bathroom floor. It was obviously not maintained as part of the grout is missing with the adjoining grout looking dry and crumbly. I'm assuming I can remove the dried grout and add news. Any advice?

Diane...yes..just take old out then use the grout you want
I used a bottle opener with the triangle head to a point to gouge out the grout in my home, and then re-grouted. Of course if you have a dremel or multi-tool it would be easier.

Hi! If you have a dremel that is one method. There are tools available, too.

Fix Cracked and Missing Tile Grout
Hi Diane,
I would use a Dremel to remove the grout and replace with new. Don't forget to remove excess before it dries as it is the devil to remove afterwards............
use care in removing the surface grout... too much pressure will remove too much grout, very important to do workable areas, so you can remove surface grout as you go otherwise where you started will hard while you try to finish up and as John said above it is the devil to remove after it dries on the surface.
Use a hand grout saw to cut out the grout and then use matching grout to regrout that area
Hi Diane, hope this helps you out,
