Using multiple colors of stains used on top of each other then remove fairly soon with a really durable sponge that will not break apart into the stain, remove as much of stain until it appears to look like the color of wood that you would like. Only do a foot or two section at a time, especially if working alone.
You can buy a tool for painting wood grain. Be sure to finish with at least 3 coats of polyurethane to protect your paint. :)
Hello. There is a wood grain tool that would be a recommended option. Here’s a link, check out reviews and Q&A to see if it’s something you wish to consider.

Dry Brush technique with a chip brush that has been cut into like “texturizing” done to human haircuts.
Paint the floor with dark color. All to dry 2 to 3 days. or follow instructions on can for complete cure. Then apply a lighter color directly on top of the darker one. Then use a wood grain tool to create the look you want. You pull the tool as you rock it back and forth. You can buy the wood grain tool at your local home improvement store. I recommend to practice first.
Amazon has rollers with a repeating wood grain pattern (Empaistic) devices and wood grain paint, take a look here:
