Happy to help. I hope your orchids are feeling better soon!
Check your humidity level. My old boss used to raise them and he kept it around 70%.

Hi Cuky: Here are a couple sites that may help:
hI ! They need medium light , not too close to a cold window , if you live in a climate that has cold weather . To water , use 1 ice cube a week. Good luck !
Thanks for information
Orchids go dormant between bloomings. They may appear lifeless but are actually alive and well. They should be planted in a bark medium that can be soaked for 20 minutes and then thoroughly drained each week or two depending on your climate. I live in a very dry climate and we soak orchids weekly.
You've gotten some good advice here. Don't forget to fertilize your orchids as well. You can get fertilizer specifically for orchids at most garden supply stores. Follow the instructions on the package.
I had one doing this and I put it on my back porch. It seems to e perking up.
It looks like you have good advice here. Good luck! I used to get Orchids, and they would do well for a while, but I always end up losing them.
Yes, I really appreciate the advice from every one, specially the lady that gave me the site about taking care and repotting my orchids. I will post how it went once I get to it. Thanks
Orchids rest in between blooms. It can be months before they are ready to bloom again.
I'm sorry to hear about your mom, I know how hard that is...and I wonder if the climate in Puerto Rico was better for the plants? Or maybe it was the type of orchids? I know there are different varieties, but I'm certainly no expert. I do hope someone else has tips that work for you and you get yours blooming again!
