Hi Amy,
What is clogging your sink drains? Is it grease, hair, or something else?
Before you get many suggestions for the baking soda+ vinegar combo, read this link, it makes sense for this common problem:

It depends on if you’re just cleaning them (vinegar and baking soda) or if you’ve got a clog. Try the plastic strip with rose-like hooks for hair clogs.
To create the chemical reaction to clean the drain, pour 1/2 cup of baking soda down the drain and 1/2 cup of white vinegar on top. After you've let the mixture sit for 10 minutes, flush your sink once again with boiling water.

Amy....Clean with soft scrub or what you usually do and sprinkle baking soda down drain and wait a little while then run hot water down the drain.

Remove as much as possible with a snake or drain cleaning tool. Pour ½ cup baking soda then ½ cup white vinegar in the drain and cover, letting sit for 20 minutes. Boil water, remove cover, and pour water down the drain. You may have to repeat the process.
Hi Amy. I recommend using a drain snake to unplug your drain. A drain snake is a long thin auger with tiny teeth down its length. It's used to dislodge clogs in plumbing when even a plunger won't work. Good luck Amy.

This can be a frequent consideration if you have someone blessed with curly long hair like we do.
Even though we have an auger, most commonly we find that our drains need to be physically fished out. Either using an unbent hanger as a refashioned hook or plastic barbed tool from the dollar store to explore the drain obstruction.
Fishing out the blockage with that in -our experience— to partially involve hair seems to most readily alleviate stoppage in our faucets and shower drains.
There are some retrofit devices out there and that could be helpful if you get your drain clean consider the little mushroom cap for collecting the hair. There is also a more refined looking chrome for one but if you look at customer reviews and Q&A’s it seems like this mushroom one has a higher review. You may consider having a look at these existing devices to see if that will help the problem from from reoccurring.

Hi Amy - This is what we do and it works really well. Pour 1 TBSP of baking soda and then 1/2 cup vinegar slowly down the drain. Let it fizzle and pour a little more. Then follow up with boiling water. You will probably need to repeat 2-5 times. For the most stubborn drains, I use BioKleen which is less toxic than traditional drain cleaners. I've included a great article on 50+ other uses for vinegar. Hope this helps! Hugs, Holly

I pour bleach down my drains at night once a month and leave it over night. It helps to clean any odor.
Chemicals can be very hard on plumbing pipes. If possible I prefer to use this manual cleaner. Works great on drain if it's not too far down
