10 Minute Napkin Rings
Ever picked up those cute napkin rings made from faux greenery then looked at the $20 price tag and put them back? Me too, honey, several times. I CAN’T JUSTIFY IT.
Instead, I saw some wire garland in the target bullseye for $1 and made 8 napkin rings with it whilst also having more than half of the garland leftover.
Any skinny faux garland will work as long as its wired to hold its shape. Or you could get boojie and go all out with a thick faux eucalyptus for drama.
Materials
All you need is your wired garland, some twine, and scissors or wire snippers.
Make a circle with the garland
Make a napkin ring size circle with your garland, use an existing napkin ring for size guidance if needed. When you’re happy cut your wire, not too long, just enough excess to wrap around itself to secure, without making this piece of your ring too bulky.
The wire edge
This part needs tucking away to secure the ring and also avoid any sharp wire sticking out. As you can see in the next picture I’ve fully flattened and hidden this end.
Add your string
You can use anything you like or nothing at all. This is solely decorative and I wanted to add a little rustic touch so I used twine. You can even get the glue gun out and add flourishes instead of a string or ribbon.
