You can DIY a canopy for your bed by using a hula hoop. Cut the hula hoop and feed netting (or fabric of your choice) on it. When all the fabric is on the hula hoop, repair the cut. Hang the hula hoop from the ceiling above your bed.

How to Make a Simple Canopy From Curtain Rods.
Hello there,
Just throw a flat sheet over a frame, that's the easiest way to do it. If you want it to look even fancier, use a Bed valance sheet or a Bedspread with a valance.
Best wishes. If you don't want the four poster look, then use a length of fabric and drape it over or around a frame from the wall - a bit like a pelmet! Hope that helps a bit!
The curtain rods hanging from the ceiling with lightweight curtains is the easiest option. I know Target carries inexpensive lightweight panels. Good luck!

Most people are familiar with wall mount brackets for curtain rods, but did you know that they also make "ceiling mount" brackets?
Find joist positions just a bit wider than your bed (use a stud finder). Hang 1 pair to the right, a pair to the left, and a pair at the foot (don't forget to set the brackets for the foot 90° off the ones for the sides). A pair at the head is optional.
Insert the rods & hang the curtains of your choice. Make sure that the curtains are long enough but not too long. Shorter than the bottom of your box spring looks truncated. Dragging on the floor is a trip hazard on late night runs to the bathroom.

Honestly, I'm not a fan of such modifications but some ideas posted here are pretty lovely. I think the most interesting option is to use curtain rods as they seem the most suitable for beds. I think that it would look even better with ecosa bed base which is definitely better than koala bedbase in my opinion. Honestly, I think that a good-looking bed base is one of the most important things in the bedroom as it shows the coziness of it. I think that walnut color is one of the most stylish tho.
